On the Frontline of Christ’s Army

October 31, 2017 by ChristianHolinessDaily

Remember, we are but soldiers on the front lines of a cosmic battle. You claim that you have seen no evidence of demons, angels, or of Satan, and no evidence of a spiritual dimension just beyond the veil? Then you have been blinded by the enemy. To deny the spiritual realm is tantamount to denying Christ, for He dealt most certainly with spiritual warfare.
Many of us refuse to see the battle that rages around us, believing ourselves safe if we steer clear of sin and avoid discussion of Satan and his demons. Yet, Job and Paul, both of whom were considered righteous, were severely oppressed by devils. Christ, who was without sin, was whisked into the desert where he was oppressed by Satan for forty days. Close your eyes and refuse to discuss it if you wish; either way you are a soldier. You are either in the front lines of Christ’s army or in Satan’s reserves.

– Steve Hager, The Quest for the Mind of Christ.
